💷 Salary: £20,960 per annum (£26,200 Full-Time Equivalent)
⏰ Hours: 30 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Complex Needs Navigator to join a dedicated team supporting individuals experiencing multiple and complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health challenges, domestic abuse, and other behavioural or psychological difficulties.

The Role
As a Complex Needs Navigator, you will work directly with individuals facing significant challenges, helping them access services, develop support plans, and progress towards greater independence and wellbeing. Using a trauma-informed approach, you will build trusting relationships and provide tailored support that empowers people to make positive changes in their lives.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing person-centred support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Supporting individuals experiencing drug and alcohol dependency, mental health concerns, domestic abuse, personality disorders, and other complex issues.
  • Building supportive, professional, and trusting relationships with service users.
  • Providing practical and emotional support to help individuals access appropriate services and opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated support.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client records.
  • Participating in outreach activities across the local community.
  • Contributing to an out-of-hours on-call rota and outreach rota, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
  • A strong understanding of issues relating to substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, and social exclusion.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently whilst managing a varied caseload.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • A compassionate, resilient, and non-judgemental approach.
  • Commitment to delivering trauma-informed and person-centred support.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain business insurance for work-related travel.
  • Ability to participate in outreach and out-of-hours on-call rotas.
