Red Snapper Group are recruiting for a Compliance & Reporting Officer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business, supporting key compliance and reporting functions within a collaborative and values-driven environment.
Summary of job (location, contract and salary/rates)
- Location: Fully Remote
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: £25,000 per annum
Main duties and responsibilities
- Conduct vetting, reference checks and DBS checks to ensure regulatory compliance
- Record and monitor the progress of all compliance checks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and reports
- Ensure adherence to all compliance and quality policies
- Support internal and external audit preparation activities
- Work collaboratively with other departments and consultants to promote a strong culture of compliance
- Assist with data collation and formatting for financial and business reporting
- Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting processes
- Support the development and improvement of operational workflows
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the compliance function
Person Specification
- Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
- Basic experience using Microsoft Excel for data tracking and formatting
- Confident in using Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively and deliver high-quality support
- Good analytical and reasoning skills
- Flexible approach to changing priorities and workloads
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
Any Specialist requirements (vetting etc.)
- Candidates will be required to undergo vetting checks, including references and DBS clearance
