Investigator Roles with Merseyside Police

RSR are working with Merseyside Police to recruit a number of Investigation specialists. We are accepting applications from all investigation profession types from all sectors –  Police,  Central and Local Government,  Regulatory Services, and Private sector. RSR is providing a training event to help professionals meet the requirements of these roles.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to transfer your investigative knowledge into a policing environment. You will be working on level 2 and Level 3 investigations, including volume crimes and safeguarding victims through a multi-agency approach.

Working Monday to Friday on an agency contract position paying £15.70 PAYE plus 25 days holidays and bank holidays (Pro-rata – 6 months).

Investigators need to be skilled in the following areas:

• The planning required to conduct an investigation and the investigative process
• Decision making and how it can be improved by applying an investigative mindset
• Investigative and evidential evaluation (which can assist the investigator to determine the value of material gathered during the investigation)
• Creative thinking
• Challenging experts
• Victim and witness care (desirable)

Investigation Training

We are currently welcoming applications from individuals with recent or non-recent policing experience in Investigations. For candidates needing additional training, RSR is providing a free 5 -10 training event at Merseyside HQ where candidates will be trained in Civilian Investigation and Niche Systems. The training event is booked for w/c 6^th and 13^th June
