Lead Business Development Representative (BDR) - EMEA

Location: UK (remote)

 

A Canada headquartered Cyber Security Vendor are looking to appoint a Lead Business Development Representative who will be responsible for establishing and driving growth across EMEA. This B2B technology start-up operate within Cyber Risk Quantification.

 

This organisation helps CISOs and Boards tie financial risk directly to business priorities for improved decision-making. They quantify risk across all your digital business touchpoints, and put a dollar value on it. This Lead Business Development Representative will shape and drive Business Development Activities within the business. This is an opportunity to directly impact the growth of a B2B Cyber Security start-up that are looking to revolutionize Cyber Risk Quantification.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strong prospecting strategy within a geographic market.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest by leveraging the knowledge of the Cyber Security industry.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and communicate product features/benefits clearly.
  • Establish and cultivate Executive level relationships within prospective accounts.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Leadership, Product Management and other business units across the organisation.
  • Build relationships with partners.
  • Focus on net new logos within the enterprise space.
  • Maintain and expand your book of business through creative outreach strategies.
  • Enter applicable data into CRM database in a timely manner to actively track, analyse, and report against opportunities.

 

Requirements

  • Business Development / Inside Sales experience.
  • Proven ability to drive and grow a Business Development function.
  • Record of accomplishment of sourcing leads that convert into Net New Logo wins.
  • Experience communicating with senior level stakeholders in relation to a Cyber Security SaaS offering.
  • A skilled negotiator, able to build trust and understanding with the clients
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a competitive edge.
