Salary between £64,012 and £84,974 per annum dependent on skills and experience, plus excellent benefits package

Fixed term contract 12-months

Hybrid working, must be able to commute to Brighton office.

Main duties and responsibilities
The role of the Intelligence team is to support, inform and challenge TPR as an intelligence-led Regulator. We aim to provide a high quality, targeted, strategic, and tactical service to our teams and partners, identifying risks and issues that impact the pension’s landscape. The Intelligence team supports the whole of TPR and works extensively with external organisations to gather and share intelligence and support enforcement and disruption activity.
We are looking for an Intelligence Business Lead to join our team. This is a new and exciting opportunity to engage with external stakeholders to deliver approaches to respond to the threat posed by pensions scams. The role will work to ambitious timescales, developing medium to long term options to tackle pension scams. This will involve collaboration with government partners, law enforcement agencies and industry to deliver outcomes across multiple themes including enforcement, disruption, and communications.
As an Intelligence Business Lead you will have the opportunity to work with an existing strategy group with the aim of delivering a new approach. The role will provide the foundation to transform the national approach to combatting pension scams and achieve good outcomes for pension savers.
The role holder will be responsible for communicating developments to all levels of TPR and to senior leaders at strategic partner agencies to ensure plans are clear and give stakeholders the opportunity to endorse the process.
• Report directly to Head of Intelligence to deliver a clear suite of options to enable effective decision making on future budget allocation.
• Work well with the TPR Intelligence Team and internal stakeholders to ensure planned delivery complements and enhances existing mitigations.
• Establish clear measures/KPIs to lead delivery of new objectives.
• Provide subject matter expertise to design, plan and deliver initiatives to support workstreams.
• Responsible for developing a risk framework against project deliverables and ensuring timely escalation of risk on non-delivery of project objectives.
• Accountable to provide verbal and written briefings to TPR and external partners to communicate strategy and progress against the planned deliverables.
• Lead and deliver industry workstreams to achieve strategic objectives to ensure industry accountability.
• Partner with our Change, Finance and HR teams to build future options, budget spend and resourcing models.
Cultivate an inclusive culture, promoting diversity and embedding TPR’s values.

Person Specification

• Knowledge of UK Law Enforcement best practice including a strategic understanding of the UK fraud landscape.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to provide clear direction and assurance to external partners to influence outcomes and identify risks to delivery
• An excellent standard of written products to provide clear and concise briefings, options analysis, and progress reports.
• Proven experience of delivering to demanding timelines, with the ability to reprioritise and replan in line with delivery risk.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to provide clear direction and assurance to external partners to influence outcomes and identify risks to delivery
• Exceptional knowledge of developing and delivering strategic business plans.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Regulatory and Supervisory frameworks as well as proven experience of working collaboratively with government departments and agencies.
