Technical Security Engineer – Networks & Firewalls – High-Growth Tech Company

High growth tech company are looking for a number of security engineers to join a growing team and cyber security function.  This is a varied and technical security engineering role within an innovative, disruptive alt net scale up. Working mainly on infrastructure and networks this role will require a cyber-security subject matter expert to work with a rapidly expanding team of engineers to design and implement a broad range of technical security solutions across the business. Specifically:

• Developing and implementing a broad range of security solutions including firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto etc), IDS / IPS, network access controls and vulnerability management solutions;
• Developing technical solutions to vulnerabilities and assisting with automation tasks;
• Writing reports and making recommendations for both technical and non-technical business audiences;
• Monitoring security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access and vulnerability management;
• Keeping up to date with modern threat actors and assisting with virtualisation.
