RSR Police are recruiting for a Police Investigator PIP1 to undertake PSD investigations for a police force in the North West of England.

This is a full time, temporary contract for 10 months paying £15.44 per hour.

Purpose

• The purpose of this role is to manage, gather evidence and participate in investigations into allegations of both misconduct and complaints made by the public against Constabulary employees.
• Ensure that any evidence obtained is recorded, secured and preserved in an appropriate manner.
• Ensure that investigations and enquiries are conducted in an expedient, proportionate, thorough and balanced manner with the subject to officer’s welfare at the forefront of your consideration.
• To interview subject officers, provide detailed reports to the Appropriate Authority, and provide support and assistance to other investigations as required by supervision.
