Product Marketing Manager – US / remote East Coast preferred

Our client is a series B funded vendor with an innovative, award-winning solution that enables enterprise clients to be absolutely in control of their cyber posture, comply to legislation and regulators, and maximise their security investment whilst at the same time being able to prioritise the demands more fully on their SOC and IT teams.  

Having proven the solution with exciting tier-1 reference accounts and impressive Strategic Alliances, they successfully closed their B round giving them the funds to expand in all directions – including of course the key functions of Sales & Marketing.

In particular they are keen to attract an experienced Product Marketing Manager to work with the Product Management and broader marketing teams to help deliver their global Go To Market strategy.


The role

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating marketing and promotional copy and content that is compelling, engaging and defensible.   You’ll be passionate about technology and cybersecurity and will relish the opportunity to gather insights and data from multiple external sources – including industry, customers and analysts to ensure your creative output is relevant.

This is a full and wide-ranging Product Marketing Management position in a small, fast growth environment and will encompass all aspects of the role – from technical information and illustrations, to sales collateral and use-cases, to competitor monitoring and launch campaigns.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years product marketing experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience working in a small high-growth environment
  • Ability to research complex data and analyse competitive intelligence
  • Security technical expertise and understanding of Enterprise Security organisations
  • The ability to create compelling, accurate, content that resonates with and influences buyers
  • Strong commercial awareness, as well as an ability to understand and articulate technical information to a range of audiences (both technical and non-technical).
  • Strong collaborative skills, with an ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including across
  • marketing, sales and product teams.
  • Fast learner, technically astute and passionate about IT and cybersecurity: Willing and able to quickly pick up new services and technologies and understand them, to ensure credibility when marketing to a highly technical (and critical) buying community.
