Overview
Red Snapper Recruitment are working with a respected faith-based care provider who are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Team Leader to join their team in Gillingham on a 3-month contract.
This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, proven leadership within a care or supported housing environment, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults to lead positive, fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the on-site management team by supervising care staff and monitoring service quality.
Conduct regular key working sessions with clients to help them achieve the aims of their support plans.
Manage and de-escalate client risks through effective assessment, planning, and communication.
Induct, train, and supervise colleagues and junior staff in line with service standards.
Maintain and update client Care Plans and relevant documentation.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, specialists, and agencies to support clients’ needs.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a care or supported housing setting.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage risk and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Additional Information
This is a temporary 3-month contract role.
Pay rate: £16.00 per hour (PAYE) / £19.50 per hour (Umbrella).
Full-time, 40 hours per week with potential inclusion in an on-call rota.
